Marvel’s ‘INHUMANS’ Cancelled By ABC

Following the recent wave of TV cancellations that included hit shows such as Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Lucifer, it seems that ABC has decided to cut back on some of their own programming as well. Marvel’s Inhumans will not be returning for a second season.

This doesn’t exactly come as a surprise, as the show failed to find a following with both critics and fans. Less and less viewers turned up with each passing episode, and all eight chapters of the show ultimately failed to tell a compelling story set around Marvel’s Royal Family. Rumors of cancellation have surrounded the show since its premiere, after the first two episodes debuted in IMAX theaters to a poor reception from those in attendance.

The show is based on the comic book series of the same name, which features a race of super-powered beings known as Inhumans who reside secretly on Earth’s moon. It’s a shame that the property never got to enjoy the success of other MCU titles, but perhaps one day, Black Bolt and his super-powered family will find their way into the hands of someone capable of creating something special.

How do you feel about Inhumans being cancelled? Let us know down in the comments, or find us on Twitter at @SuperBroMovies. Actually, you don’t care that this show’s gone, right? Of course you don’t. Me either. Go see Infinity War again. That movie’s pretty good.
