We got to see Jon Bernthal finally portray The Punisher in his own show last year and fans loved it. It wasn’t long after that Netflix announced that there would indeed be a season 2. The Golden Globe nominees have been picked up for Season 2, which means they’ll be joining the other previously-announced Josh Stewart, Floriana Lima and Girogia Wigham.

Bernsen is taking the role of Anderson Schultz. Schultz is a man with endless amounts of money. O’Toole will take the role as his wife, Eliza Schultz. Both are expected to be extremely manipulative, and will take anything and everything into their own hands, regardless of the law. Jeph Loeb, executive producer and head of Marvel Television, expressed his excitement over them joining. He said:

We are delighted to have Annette and Corbin join the remarkable talent this season. Our audience will enjoy them in very unexpected but perfectly cast roles.

Loeb seems to trust in them so there’s no reason we shouldn’t! Many of our favorites from season 1 will be returning as well. This includes Ben Barnes as Billy Russo, Amber Rose Revah as Dinah Madani and Jason R. Moore as Curtis Hoyle.

Now it’s just a waiting game. There’s not much more we know but be sure to tune in daily for more news regarding The Punisher and all your other favorite shows/films! As far as casting goes, what are your thoughts on the newly brought on cast members? Let us know over at SuperBroMovies! – JB Baker
