Jason Momoa Provides Update On ‘AQUAMAN’ Trailer

One comment

DC fans have waited with bated breath for a glimpse at the next film in the film universe. Aquaman had a secret teaser trailer premiere to a closed off audience at CinemaCon last month. A public trailer has been held off by the director, James Wan himself. But today, Jason Momoa himself provided an update on when we can expect the trailer.

At this weekend’s Ottowa Comic Con, in Canada, Momoa spoke to a fan about the trailer.

“Its coming — gonna be awesome. It’ll be worth it. Its me in it.”

The source commented on how excited Momoa is for his solo role and for fans to see it. He is as ready for it as everyone else. Perhaps this means the first trailer will come earlier than San Diego Comic Con, in July. It would make sense to get a trailer out soon, with the movie only seven months away. Releasing a first trailer late in the summer, even if tied to a large event, may be a mistake. WB passed up the chance to put an Aquaman trailer before Avengers: Infinity War, so Deadpool 2 only a few weeks later is doubtful.

Perhaps it will come in mid-summer with the release of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Director James Wan has likened the film to an underwater Star Wars. So maybe the trailer will be attached to Solo: A Star Wars Story. When do you think the Aquaman trailer will make it’s debut? Tweet us @superbromovies – Cole
