‘INFINITY WAR’ Writers Tease Captain America’s Arc In ‘AVENGERS 4’

The world is still mourning after the end of Avengers: Infinity War. To help you cope with your grief, just remember we’re less than a year away from the release of Avengers 4. With that in mind, Infinity War writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely teased Steve Roger’s arc in the film.

Markus and McFeely sat down with The Playlist to discuss the fallout from Infinity War and what to expect in Avengers 4. They began by talking about a scene that was cut involving Steve Rogers and his Secret Avengers:

“We had a couple of really cool versions of an action sequence illustrating what Steve, Natasha, and Falcon – basically the Secret Avengers – have been up to. They kicked a lot of ass and it was brutal.”

With so many characters in the film, it’s difficult to give ample screen time to every hero. The one major hero that got shafted was Cap himself. He was featured a lot less than fans expected but don’t worry Markus and McFeely are teasing something big for Rogers. The writers said to expect a “very intense arc” for everyone’s favorite Avenger.

Captain America has seen his fair share of tragedy. From having to lose the love of his life by crashing the plane in TFA to watching his friends disappear in Infinity War. It looks like we should expect more of the same in Avengers 4 as Cap will be looking to avenge his friends against the Mad Titan.
