Details about the upcoming Aquaman movie have been a bit scarce, especially since we still don’t have a trailer. While fans will still have to wait more so we can get a good look at the DCU film, a recent leak may reveal a comic-accurate suit for Aquaman himself.
Below is an image featuring what seems like official LEGO figures for the upcoming film, featuring Arthur Curry and Mera. Although we will still rule this being real as a possibility and not fact, the Instagram page is very reliable for leaking LEGO sets. Check it out.

So yes, it seems like Arthur Curry will indeed wear his iconic yellow and green scale costume at some point in the film. It’s clear with the reportedly comic-accurate costumes for also both Black Manta and King Orm that director James Wan is sticking close to the source material.
It’s not clear of course how long he’ll be wearing his signature scales, but I wouldn’t be surprised it’s only for the last half of the film. The first stills released a while back only reveal Arthur in jeans, and the set photos have him wearing some random bits of armor. Whatever happens, I’m happy they are sticking close to the comics. If they also keep the epicness from the New 52 run, well this will surely be a superhero film to remember.
