The cast of the sequel to 2017’s IT has just gotten even bigger with the addition of Andy Bean to the lineup. Bean is most known for his roles in Here and Now and Allegiant.
Bean will play the adult version of Stanley Uris, who was played by Wyatt Oleff in the first film. He joins the cast which includes James McAvoy as Bill Denbrough, Jessica Chastain as Beverly Marsh, Bill Hader as Richie Tozier, and James Ransone who was cast as Eddie Kaspbrak earlier today.
The sequel will pick up 27 years after the events of the first film as the Losers Club head back to Derry, Maine to finally defeat the evil clown Pennywise.
Andy Muschetti is set to return to direct the project from a script by the screenwriter of the first film, Gary Dauberman. The younger actors will also be returning in the form of flashbacks and Bill Skarsgard will also be returning to reprise his role as the iconic Pennywise.
