‪Kiersey Clemons Confirms She Will Play Iris West In ‘THE FLASH’ Solo Movie‬

The Flash solo film has stirred up a bit of confusion after all the entering and exiting of directors, as well as rumors of which storyline the film was set to follow. It was also revealed in a Justice League deleted scene that Iris West was originally in the film. Portrayed by Kiersey Clemons, she has been remotely quiet on if she would return to play the iconic Iris West opposite of Ezra Miller’s Barry Allen. Well, fret no longer my friends. She recently appeared on Conan where she talked about her character.

Since her scene was never in the film, it wouldn’t come as a surprise if her character stuck around. The mess that DC is good at producing could’ve led to her being recasted or just cut from the plot as a whole. Instead, she said to Conan:

Imagine if I said no. Imagine if I was like, ‘I’m cut out of the whole thing.’ We talked about it though before so that’s not going to happen. I know I’m going to be in The Flash … Yeah, I’m Iris West.

That’s the confirmation we were all waiting for. We now know Iris West will definitely appear in The Flash alongside Ezra Miller. What’s cool is that they have already worked together which will give their chemistry a bit of a head start whenever production begins on the film. As far as when production starts, it’s been rumored to begin this summer which now doesn’t seem too farfetched. This casting announcement could possibly be the first of many.

This announcement has excited fans all over and will hopefully open the door to more announcements on the highly anticipated Flash film. Are you excited to see Kiersey Clemons portray Iris West in The Flash? Let us know your thoughts over at SuperBroMovies! – JB Baker
