The Flash has been a film of mystery for some time. The film has gone through a few directors including Dope director Rick Famuyiwa. There are also a few storylines from the comics that have been said to be the plot of the film. The most popular storyline said to be the plot of the film will be Flashpoint. The most recent confirmed news about the film is that Johnathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley (Game Night/Spider-Man: Homecoming) have signed on to helm the film.

Ezra Miller has met with them and this is what he had to say about the meeting:

“Yeah, I did. I met them. I met them recently. They’re really, really, really cool guys. I really like their work a lot. I think they’re really great.”

Ezra Miller was one of the standout performances in Justice League. He played an amazing Barry Allen and Flash. The film didn’t do well at the box office but there was a lot of good that came out of it. At this point, we don’t know much about the plot of the film. It does seem that Miller and the directors are on the same page though. The film is rumored to be released in 2020, we will let you guys know as soon as it’s announced.

Goldstein and Daley have been praised recently for their writing on Spider-Man: Homecoming and the comedy Game Night. Both films were very successful and had amazing writing. Game Night made $114.1 million dollars on a $37 million dollar budget. The two directed the film and brought an entertaining murder mystery story to life. The style of their writing and directing is definitely what drew Warner Bros. attention to the duo. They clearly can create an amazing comedy but they also have a hand in the comic book realm from what we’ve seen in Spider-Man: Homecoming.

It seems as though good things await us in the DCU. Are you excited about the film? Do you think that Goldstein and Daley will mesh well with Miller? Tweet us SuperBroMovies with your thoughts!   – Rascal F. Kennedy
