Hopefully DC’s big screen take on The Flash will keep the pace it has set recently. The studio seems to have finally locked down director(s) for the film and the star, Ezra Miller, even met with them last week. A lot of DC films seem to be priority and then disappear from the headlines, but The Flash solo film always seems to come back. If the film is truly close to production, star Ezra Miller has some ideas for who should be in it.
Speaking at a Q&A at Philadelphia Wizard World, Miller was asked about which classic villains he would like his hero to go up against.
“There’s a lot that just come from the world of the Flash and various Rogues. It’s hard to choose a favorite. Savitar, I really love those — a lot of those plotlines. So, I’ll say that for now.”
Savitar is an interesting choice. Even though he has been presented on the TV show, he wasn’t a long standing presence like say The Reverse Flash. This may make it an easier choice to separate as much as possible while still using the comics. The cult of Savitar would also work on screen to give Barry more than one person to fight at a time.
