If you thought Zack Snyder was finished with the DC Film Universe, think again! The director has just confirmed he will be returning to the producer’s chair for the upcoming Wonder Woman 2.
After directing 2.5 out of 5 of the DCFU movies and producing the other 2.5, many fans were under the impression the director would not be returning to the franchise in any way, shape or form. The visionary director has been taking to Vero as of late, giving fans insight and answers to Man of Steel, BvS, Justice League as well as the cancelled Justice League Part 2. A recent Q&A on the social networking platform had a fan ask if he is still involved in the highly anticipated sequel to which the director responded with “Oh yes.”
I’m one of the few fans who wishes Mr. Snyder could’ve completed his 5-movie arc. I really enjoyed Man of Steel, saw shades of greatness in BvS and liked the direction he was going with these films. I personally don’t think we’ll get the “Snyder Cut” of Justice League but here’s to the fools who dream.
Details on the sequel are currently under wraps. Gal Gadot will be returning in the titular role along with Kristen Wiig as Cheetah and Pedro Pascal in an unnamed role. Chris Pine is also rumored to return, preferably as a ‘Force Ghost’ that guides Diana throughout the movie.
