RUMOR: Huntress May Be Joining The ‘BIRDS OF PREY’ Ensemble

The Birds of Prey movie could be the saving grace of the DCEU. After a film like Suicide Squad, fans were extremely disappointed when Harley Quinn, one of the only positives of the film, didn’t get the introduction she deserved. This time around, I’m sure fans will be pleased with her role, but now there’s even more to be excited about.

It has already been rumored that Birds of Prey will have Batgirl in it before her solo film, as well as maybe Penguin as a way to set him up for a possible antagonist role in The Batman. None of this is confirmed so take it with a grain of salt, but don’t throw the whole salt shaker out cause it’s definitely in the realm of possibilities. Another big name that might make an appearance in the Birds of Prey film is none other than Huntress herself. Omega Underground hasn’t gotten a 100%, but they’re strong in their belief that she will make an appearance.

Adding Huntress to this ensemble cast is a genius move. This will give people a fresh new character to admire along with Batgirl. It sounds overwhelming, I know, but imagine a film where you see Batgirl and Huntress take on Harley Quinn, and maybe even Penguin. If done right, this film can put the DCEU back on its feet.

With Cathy Yan set to direct the film, there is no word on production dates or even a release date. Margot Robbie will be back as Harley, and time will give us the names of the actresses/actors portraying the other iconic characters. Are you excited to see Huntress on the big screen?
