It has recently been revealed that The Big Sick star Kumail Nanjiani will be joining the star-studded cast of the upcoming Men in Black spin-off. Marvel stars Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson are both set to star and Liam Neeson is also in talks to join.
According to That Hashtag Show, Nanjiani would star as Pawny, a third sidekick that is a funny, wise-cracking, sex-driven alien from a civilization that exists on a Chessboard. It would be very interesting to see how Nanjiani would work alongside Hemsworth and Thompson who showed they have great on-screen chemistry in Thor: Ragnarok.
The film is directed by The Fate of the Furious and Straight Outta Compton director F. Gary Gray and has a script written by Iron Man and Transformers: The Last Knight writers Matt Holloway and Art Marcum. With Steven Speilberg serving as executive producer.
Hopefully, we will hear soon that the actor has officially joined the movie but for now it is simply a rumor. So until then be sure to stay tuned to SuperBroMovies for any updates on this casting.
