After developing the critically acclaimed Batman: Arkham trilogy, Rocksteady Studios’ next big game is bound to become the talk of the town. After the release of Batman: Arkham Knight, the developer has gone quiet, no doubt hard at work on their next big AAA title. Now, it appears that their upcoming project may have been leaked, and it’s sure to get gamers and comic book fans excited.
According to a supposed leak on 4chan (which was then picked up by ComicBook), a brand new Superman game from Rocksteady will be the cover story for next month’s Game Informer. The leak also states that the game will debut during Microsoft’s E3 press conference, which will take place on Sunday, June 10th.
Additional details say that the game will see Superman take on enemies both on the ground and in the air, with gameplay shifting seamlessly from flying to combat. A trailer is rumored to feature the Man of Steel taking on his longtime foe, Brainiac.
Considering Superman’s not so solid lineup of video games over the years, here’s hoping that Rocksteady can finally give the world’s first superhero the game he so rightfully deserves.
