RUMOR: ‘AQUAMAN’, ‘SHAZAM!’ & Official Slate Will Be Featured In San Diego Comic-Con Panel

It has seemed like forever since we last got anything significant from Aquaman or Shazam! besides a handful of pics, but the wait may be over soon. Along with a possible full slate reveal, Warner Bros is rumored to be going all in this year at San Diego Comic-Con with trailers for both solo films and much more.

The latest rumor comes from a pretty trustworthy source on Twitter by the name Daniel R. He was recently proven right when he revealed a “big director” (Steven Spielberg) would join DC Films and it was true. Since then, he sometimes gives his thoughts on a topic regarding the film industry, usually having to do with DC.

When a Twitter user put out a wishlist for potential reveals from WB/DC at SDCC, Daniel mentioned the tweet and added that he’s hearing that what’s included on the list (besides Cyborg) could be unveiled next month.

Keep in mind this is only a rumor and take it with a grain of salt, but it all seems very exciting to say the least. Not only would Aquaman and Shazam! trailers be shown, but also an official slate reveal that includes details about the Wonder Woman sequel. The sequel may also officially get the new name that’s being thrown around, Wonder Woman 1984.

Another major reveal that could be included is having Ben Affleck and Matt Reeves talk about The Batman, that would surely bring the whole house down. I would say, especially with what people are saying elsewhere, that the Aquaman and Shazam! trailers are a sure thing coupled with an official slate that includes Birds of Prey, The Batman and more.
