The highly anticipated sequel to arguably the best film in the entire DC Extended Universe, Wonder Woman, is currently filming in a few areas on the Eastern seaboard and some eagle eyed fans were quick to notice the original Wonder Woman herself in one of those ares, coincidentally during the same time the film is shooting.

Lynda Carter, who famously portrayed the Amazon in in the ABC/CBS TV show from 1975 to 1979 has recently appeared in a few episodes of The CW’s ‘Supergirl.’ If she can appear on small screen’s DC universe in a substantial role, who is to say that she cannot appear on the big screen in a film that would not have been possible if not for her efforts several decades ago.

Check out the video of Carter as from the Official Twitter account for the Washington Capitals, a team she has been supporting for quite some time.

Both Carter and the actress currently playing Wonder Woman Gal Gadot have had extremely high praise for the other and their friendship could easily translate to on-screen chemistry.

It wouldn’t be the first time an actor associated with comic book adaptations of the past have stepped in to assist the current iterations of the characters. Lou Ferrigno, who played The Hulk in the original TV Series had a cameo, alongside Stan Lee, in 2008’s The Incredible Hulk. John Wesley Shipp, who played The Flash in the original TV series, appeared as Jay Garrick in the CW’s ‘The Flash.’ Dean Cain, formerly Clark Kent in ‘Lois & Clark’ has a recurring role on The CW’s ‘Supergirl.’
