According to new posts on Social Media, the cast and crew of Creed II, the sequel to the hit 2015 film, have wrapped production in Philadelphia. Production on the sequel had started back in March, with Dolph Lundgren reprising his role as Ivan Drago, Rocky’s Russian Rival who was one of the main focuses of Rocky IV. Also there on set was Florian Munteanu, who will be playing Drago’s son in the much anticipated sequel, and more than likely set to fight against Adonis Creed, who’s own father had been killed by Drago in Rocky IV.

Thanks to the instagram posts (which can be seen below) it is evident that production has wrapped for the film in that area.

It will be interesting to see where the Sequel takes the character of Adonis, as the original film, released back in 2015, was a true passion project for Director Ryan Coogler (Black Panther) with a solid script and truly engaging characters, so it will be great to see some fresh talent in Director Steven Caple Jr. as well as seeing where he will be taking the character of Adonis as well as Rocky Balboa himself; for all future updates on CREED II, be sure to follow the SuperBroMovies Twitter page. – Ernesto Valenzuela

Creed II is about going back to basics to rediscover what made you a champion in the first place, and remembering that, no matter where you go, you can’t escape your history.
