The worst-kept secret in the DCU right now is that Wonder Woman 2 would see the return of Chris Pine’s Steve Trevor. Multiple reports have surfaced following the announcement of the sequel that stated Pine would be returning but nothing was confirmed. Well, we now have visual evidence that Steve Trevor will indeed appear in Wonder Woman 1984.

Director Patty Jenkins took to Twitter to post the first official image from the film. It features Trevor, dressed in an iconic 80s tracksuit, standing in what appears to be a mall. You can check out the image below:

It didn’t look good for Trevor reappearing in the DCU following his tragic death at the end of Wonder Woman. It’s unclear in what way the character will find his way back to the land of the living, although, it’s a safe bet to say magic will be involved in some capacity.

Along with the Trevor image, the movie’s star Gal Gadot also posted a photo on her Twitter. It features Diana Prince looking at a set of monitors with a set of different images on them. You can check it out below:
