Brie Larson Says ‘CAPTAIN MARVEL’ Will Be Able To “Move Planets” In The MCU

If there was ever any doubt that Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel wouldn’t be able to stand up to the might of Thanos, think again.

In a recent interview with E! News, Larson discussed her upcoming role as Carol Danvers in Captain Marvel, Marvel Studios’ upcoming cosmic adventure featuring one of the most powerful heroes in the entire Marvel library. Larson expressed her excitement for the role and how it appeals to her, but she also shared one very interesting little detail that can’t be ignored.

She’s so, so strong. She can move planets!”

As of now, we haven’t seen an MCU hero boast a power level of that magnitude, and while Thanos has no problem throwing moons, we haven’t seen him move an entire planet. Carol Danvers may give the Mad Titan and the rest of the Avengers a run for their money come 2019.

Larson’s full interview can be found below.

Captain Marvel is directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, and stars Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, and Clark Gregg.
