Michael B. Jordan NOT Ruling Out Playing Killmonger Again In MCU

The moment Michael B. Jordan’s portrayal of the villian Killmonger appeared in Black Panther, it left fans in awe and bringing praise to the character. Killmonger certainly left his mark in the MCU, arguably being one of the best villians that Marvel has ever given us. And so, it doesn’t come as a huge shock that Michael B. Jordan is open to returning as the villian.

In a recent interview at the MTV Movie and TV Awards, when asked about him returning as Killmonger, this is what Michael B. Jordan had to say:

“I’m a fan of Marvel and comic books, period. Everybody knows that so, I mean, if there was ever an opportunity for me to come back and join this universe and work with Joe Russo or Kevin Feige and Victoria and everybody over there at Marvel, re-team with Ryan (Coogler), of course I would.”

To fans, he certainly is the best villian as the character recently won an MTV movie award for it, ultimately beating Josh Brolin’s Thanos. Michael B. Jordan wanting to return as Killmonger excites fans and who knows, maybe it will open up possible doors. Killmonger died at the end of Black Panther in a way that does not seem to set him up to return. How his character would return would be interesting to see because there are so many possibilities.

Killmonger changed the game for what being a villian with true motives means. To see him in a Black Panther sequel would be not only amazing, but intriguing to see as towards which storyline they’d go about with him. Michael B. Jordan’s portrayal of the villian just left fans hungry for more and to see him die in Black Panther felt right, but certainly doesn’t stop fans from wanting more. Maybe a possible resurrection? Who knows but with Michael opening to returning, anything is possible.
