Production is currently underway for the much anticipated sequel Wonder Woman 1984, which has led to new bits of info and set images being leaked. Today, we’ve found out that the film will be visiting a very famous and important location that’ll surely be making an impact in the 80s story.
Under the working title Magic Hour, we’ve learned via a new casting call that the production is currently looking for actors, between the ages 30 and 55, to make up the White House staff. To add to it, they’ll be wearing clothing that will be appropriate for the 1984 setting. A visit to the White House could very well mean we’ll be seeing someone fill the role of Ronald Reagan, who was the President of the United States at the time.
As the film will be using the Cold War as a backdrop, it’s not too surprising they will be visiting the White House and possibly the president. What will be interesting to see is how director Patty Jenkins will use this within the superhero story that will feature Cheetah as the villain.
As more details and set photos arrive, we will keep you up to date on the latest for Wonder Woman 1984.
