‘WONDER WOMAN 1984’ Likely To Make A Surprise Appearance At Comic-Con

Since Wonder Woman 1984 has begun production, we now have some glimpse of what the film will have in store. In addition to leaked set footage of Gal Gadot in action wearing the iconic Wonder Woman suit, several stills have been released revealing major elements of the story, including the return of Chris Pine’s Steve Trevor. It turns out that we might get a deeper glimpse into the movie, as Gadot is likely to make a surprise appearance at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con to showcase the film.

Warner Bros. will have a DC panel at Hall H, meaning that an extended first look of the movie will fit with the other main topics. However, given that the production is still underway, it is not certain how much information will be shown. Audiences at Hall H could see something as major as a teaser trailer or something as minor as publicity photos depending on what is completed by mid-July, which is when the convention will begin.

The studio did not confirm or deny the appearance of the movie at Comic-Con. All that is confirmed to appear at the DC presentation is a trailer for James Wan’s Aquaman movie. Furthermore, the Shazam! movie has a strong chance it will show up as well considering it has been in production since this spring. Given that Gadot is an eager participant for multiple convention panels, it shall not be surprising if she expresses her enthusiasm this time around by giving attendees a sneak peek at Wonder Woman 1984.
