At the end of Legend’s of Tomorrow’s season 3 finale, there were a few questions left up in the air. One of them is the fate of Amaya Jiwe/Vixen played by Maisie Richardson-Sellers. At the end of Season 3, we saw her get left in 1942. Which left her fate on the CW show in question.
According to Richardson-Sellers, she will be returning to the show for the fourth season she confirmed in an Instagram/Twitter post. She will be apart of the show’s panel at SDCC in July. She also stated that things will be “weirder and more wonderful than ever.” There are some fan theories that she will return as a Doppleganger or a new character, but we will see. Here is the post below:
Marc Guggenheim commented on Richardson-sellers’ return:
“Yes, Maisie will absolutely be back. We just felt like we owed it to the character to complete this arc, complete this story loop that we got her in. Once we took her off of her path in 1942, it was always incumbent upon us to return her to that path. That was something that hung over us as writers, and hung over the character… I’m looking forward to a different storyline for Amaya next year. We’ll reveal our plans for Maisie’s character at Comic-Con this year.”
This seems like it may be a major plot point in season 4. What do you guys think? Do you think she’ll be a doppleganger in her return? Are you excited to see Richardson-Sellers back in LOT? Tweet us @SuperBroMovies with your thoughts!
