HBO’s Watchmen pilot is assembling quite the cast. The show is more inspired by the graphic novel than it is retelling it, but they are aiming for a large cast still. Already among them is Regina King, Don Johnson, Jeremy Irons, Tim Blake Nelson, and Tom Mison. Today, we have learned of two more actors joining the cast, one of whom already has superhero experience.

Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Sara Vickers have been cast in the HBO production. Abdul-Mateen is also set to appear as Black Manta, the villain in this year’s Aquaman. He also played the cop Sgt. Ellerbee in Baywatch. Vickers is best known for TV roles in The Alienist and The Crown. No details have been provided on either of their characters.
