Jeremy Irons’ ‘WATCHMEN’ Character Has Reportedly Been Revealed

One comment

Just recently it was revealed that Jeremy Irons would be joining the already stacked cast of HBO’s upcoming Watchmen. And for the rest of the cast, we don’t know much about who anyone is playing, except for some rumors concerning Don Johnson playing Hollis Mason. That is until now as it seems Irons character has been revealed.

According to That Hashtag Show, they have a breakdown for the character that sounds a lot like an older Adrian Veidt, aka Ozymandias. The character has been referred to as the “Blond Man” and is described as such,

“Highly intelligent and won’t let you forget it. Think William Hurt with slight Asperger’s. He’s used to being obeyed and always correct. Arrogant, erudite and patrician. Physically fit, he’s never missed a workout in his life.”

According to their report, this is the role Irons has signed onto play. They also stated that soon we should hear news about another pair of actors joining the cast in the roles of Mrs. Crookshanks and Bernard, the head servant and butler of the British manor lorded over by the Blond Man.

Ozymandias

This is by no means an official confirmation but it does seem highly likely to be true. However, we should still take it all with a grain of salt, as Ozymandias had German-American roots, and the “Blond Man” is said to rule over a British Manor. So for now as further news comes in concerning HBO’s Watchmen stay tuned to SuperBroMovies for updates.
