With the upcoming DC Universe show Titans in development, we recently had our first glimpses into the show, including stills of Brenton Thwaites as Dick Grayson/Robin and plot details for the pilot. One of the actors cast for the show was Castle star Seamus Dever, though his role was unknown at the time of his casting. According to FandomWire, it turns out that Dever will be playing the character of Trigon.
Trigon is an interdimensional demon that possesses many powers such as shape-shifting, energy projection, and reality manipulation, and is said to be one of the most powerful characters in the DC Universe. The comics have shown him being able to defeat the likes of the Justice League and the Teen Titans. His presence in Titans will be significant as he is the father of Raven, one of the primary characters in the series.
It is not clear at the moment how much of his comics incarnation will be present in the show. However, one can expect his relationship with Raven to be a major focal point for the show going forward. It will be interesting to see what Dever will bring to the table for this version of the villainous character.
