Spider-Man: Far From Home is the sequel to Spider Man: Homecoming, which is currently being filmed. Not much has been said about the sequel other than basic storylines and locations for filming. But it has recently been revealed by an exclusive from Deadline that JB Smoove was added to the cast for the Spider-Man sequel.
For those of you who don’t know, JB Smoove is a comedian who is best known for his role as Leon in the series Curb Your Enthusiasm and even for his SNL appearances and his reacurring role on the popular TV show Everybody Hates Chris. Other than the fact that Smoove has been cast into the movie, nothing is yet known what his role in the film could be. Known for his humor, it’ll be fun to see if he brings that charm into his role in Spider-Man: Far From Home. Maybe even a funny scene with Tom Holland’s Peter Parker will be great to see.
What we know for now is that J.B. Smoove joins the cast alongside Tom Holland, Zendaya, Micheal Keaton and Marisa Tomei with Jon Watts to return to direct. Sony Pictures has yet to comment about this new information other than saying that J.B. Smoove will be a part of the ensemble cast. We won’t know for sure until we see the film or a trailer. For now, fans can go and enjoy Ant-Man and The Wasp, which is out in theaters now!
