Charlie Cox has effortlessly worked his way into the hearts of comic book fans everywhere, portraying Marvel’s Man Without Fear for two seasons so far on Daredevil, and in the thrilling Defenders mini series. Cox brings such a great intensity and sense of dedication to the role, and seeing him team up with the likes of Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, and Iron Fist in The Defenders was an absolute joy. However, according to Cox himself, there’s another MCU do-gooder he wants to cross paths with.
During a panel at the Las Vegas Comic Con, Cox expressed an interest in seeing the blind vigilante team up with Tom Holland’s friendly neighborhood wall crawler.
“I have to be really careful here. I mean, I’m sure I can say this. And I’ll just preface it by saying that I can’t see how this would happen. Maybe it will, maybe it won’t. But I have no information to suggest that this would ever happen. But it’d be really cool to see…I’d love to do something with Spider-Man.”
While there’s no telling when or if this crossover could ever even happen, it’s good to know that there’s at least one member of the Marvel party who wants to make it possible. Matt Murdock and Peter Parker have a long and storied history together in Marvel comics. The two often team up to take on various enemies, including one shared nemesis in particular, Wilson Fisk.
The actor also elaborated a bit more on the current state of The Defenders, and it seems he knows about as much as we do.
“I have no idea about Defenders,” explained Cox. “I know that I had a great time doing the first season and I love those guys and I love the work that we did and I love all of their shows.”
Both seasons of Daredevil are currently available in Netflix, as well as Marvel’s other shows, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, The Defenders, and The Punisher.

Marvel’s Daredevil – “Matt Murdock (aka The Daredevil) is a blind, mild-mannered lawyer by day and butt-kicking vigilante by night. He uses his superior sense of sound and smell to fight the evil-doers of New York City’s Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood.”
