‘IRON FIST’ San Diego Comic-Con Building Art Teases The Upcoming Season 2

Although the first season of the Marvel/Netflix show Iron Fist was met with mixed reception from critics and audiences, the titular character’s appearances in subsequent Marvel/Netflix series like The Defenders and Luke Cage have increased audience goodwill towards him. In fact, the increasingly positive response towards Danny Rand/Iron Fist has been strong enough to warrant a second season for the show. Considering that San Diego Comic-Con is only a few days away, there is now promotional material for Season 2 of Iron Fist in the form of neon building art.

Recently, a user posted a picture on the Defenders subreddit revealing building art for the show, which includes a neon green dragon tattoo and a 2018 date, meaning that the season will debut some time this year. However, the artwork does not explicitly provide the month and day for the season premiere.

Little is known about the season’s overall narrative at the moment. It is likely that announcements will be made during SDCC. Given that Season 2 takes place after The Defenders, it will be interesting to see how Rand will continue to be a protector for those around him.
