With the panel for Young Justice Season 3 at San Diego Comic-Con wrapped up, we finally have some details about the series. The panel revealed not only the plot of the upcoming series but also the many heroes who will be joining the cast this season. It looks like the show has pushed out all the stops so let’s get into the details from the panel.

It seems that the upcoming season will focus on metahuman trafficking and the weaponization of the metagene. This plot was hinted at in the previous season with the emergence of new metahumans around the world.

The metahuman trafficking is also the reason for Nightwing, Superboy, Artemis, and Aqualad getting back together for a final mission.

The trafficking of the metahumans seems to also introduce some of the season’s new characters as one of the kidnapped individuals is Princess Tara of Markovia. Joining the princess is her brother Geo-Force who will be voiced by Troy Baker. Geo-Force can be seen in the above image wearing the green super suit.

Along with Geo-Force, Young Justice Season 3 will also introduce Forager, voiced by Jason Spisak (pictured right of Geoforce), and Halo voiced by Zehra Fazal (left of Metamorpho). A number of other characters were also featured in the trailer for the new season including Katana, Orian, Arrowette, Traci 13, and many more.

According to information from the panel, we will also see one of the original Outsiders from the comics join the cast of heroes. And looks like we will have a multitude of other characters as it was confirmed that nearly every character from the past two seasons will come back for the new season. The best news of all, however, is that there are no embargoed characters for the show which is common on the CW.

And finally, it was confirmed that the past two seasons of Young Justice will be available on the DC Universe streaming service. The cast also stated they want to do a fourth season so it’s important that fans watch the new season.
