Despite the character Yellowjacket being utilized as the villain in the first installment of Ant Man (2015), Michael Douglas’ Hank Pym was set to wear the iconic Yellowjacket suit in this year’s Ant-Man and The Wasp. New concept art reveals not only The Wasp new and old, but also a modernized rendition of Hank Pym’s Yellowjacket look.

According to ComicBookMovie.com’s obversation, it is unclear as to why exactly Hank Pym would have been inclined to make Darren Cross’ updated suit. A theory for the unused scene based on this art is that Pym found the technology advantageous to the rescue mission in the Quantum Realm for Janet.
