For those hungry Game of Thrones fans like me, winter has come and left us in the cold waiting for the next and final season of the iconic series. With filming wrapped and teases thrown at us like fresh meat, the season eight premiere date could not come sooner. Luckily, HBO president Casey Bloys is able to sway our impatience momentarily.
According to TV Line, the HBO boss has told reporters this week that season 8 “will premiere in the ‘first half’ of 2019”. This apparently lines up with a previous statement made by Maisie Williams in an interview earlier this year, where she claimed that “Thrones will be back in April 2019″.
Thankfully, April is just around the corner so Thrones fans won’t have to wait much longer to see the highly anticipated conclusion to the epic fantasy drama.
Who do you think will survive Game of Thrones? Which character are you rooting for to be on the Iron Throne? Dish with us on over on @SuperBroMovies!
