The past couple weeks have seen of nonstop hype for upcoming DC films Aquaman and Shazam because of their Comic Con trailers. Today though, director Patty Jenkins has released a new offical image from her film Wonder Woman 1984. She had previously released an image for Kristen Wiig’s villainous character of Cheetah. In 80’s fashion, Jenkins released a still of Pedro Pascal’s character on an old school TV.
Little is known about Pascal’s character. Both his allegiances and his name remain a mystery. Here is Patty Jenkin’s tweet with a curious title.
What could “Can’t Stop Watching” refer to? Could it be referencing that Pascal is looking into the camera watching us? He has a very villainous presence in this image. Could he be playing a villain with a plan that involves forcing people to watch him on television and brainwashing them? That’s a very common plot in DC stories.
What do you think this all means? What side do you think Pedro Pascal’s character is on? Tweet us @superbromovies – Cole
Wonder Woman 1984 is set to hit theaters on November 1st, 2019.
