All silence has officially broken. The entire Guardians of the Galaxy has released an open letter about the rehiring of currently disgraced director, James Gunn. After multiple tweets from various cast members in the past ten days alluding towards a defense of the cast’s beloved director, there is now an open campaign to have James Gunn rehired. GOTG star Dave Bautista tweeted out the following:
This more than likely will impulse the petition made by fans to rehire James Gunn for the next installment of the Guardians franchise. Speculation is leaning towards this scandal being a Disney executive decision rather Marvel decision and is expected to make substantial impact over the status of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
