Dwayne Johnson’s ‘BLACK ADAM’ Movie Shooting For A 2019 Fall Production Date

With Shazam‘s trailer releasing at SDCC, it has shown that it’s miles away from Black Adam‘s solo flick. The star of the Black Adam movie is none other than massive superstar Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. Being one of the busiest actors to date, there’s been no telling on when this DC film will begin. Well now we’re here to give you an update.

The Rock has spent the last few years starring in films such as Jumanji, Skyscraper, Rampage, Fast 7, the list truly does go on a ways. One announcement that came out within that chaos was one of him being cast as Black Adam in a solo movie about the villain. We knew it wouldn’t be awhile to we knew anything more, but it’s been quite some time.

With no director on the project, what they have been doing is working on a script. From there it’s expect to find a director, and all the other necessities, with hopefully filming beginning next fall. There’s not much more on the film, we’re not even sure of a release date, but if there’s one thing The Rock does, he makes things happen. With time we’ll definitely see more development on this film. In the mean time, you’ll be able to see The Rock in films like Hobbs & Shaw, Jungle Cruise, Jumanji 2 in the coming years.

With Shazam coming out within the next year, it’d be really cool to see Black Adam make some sort of cameo, but that’s a stretch. What are your thoughts on the development of this Black Adam solo flick? Let us know over at SuperBroMovies! – JB Baker
