Wilson Bethel Seemingly Confirmed To Play Bullseye In ‘DAREDEVIL’ Season 3

In November 2017, it was confirmed that Hart of Dixie star Wilson Bethel was cast in the upcoming third season of the Marvel/Netflix series Daredevil. At this time, he was said to play an unspecified FBI agent. However, according to a recent Instagram post by fitness coach Naqam Washington, it seems that the initial character description was merely a cover for Bethel’s actual role in the show. It turns out that he will be playing one of Daredevil’s most famous adversaries: the psychopathic assassin Bullseye.

In Washington’s post, he can be seen in a gym alongside Bethel and Charlie Cox, both of whom are training for their characters. Furthermore, he includes hashtags of Daredevil and Bullseye, further confirming Bethel’s role in the upcoming season. Although no official statement has been released in regards to the casting, this is the first time that the casting was hinted at explicitly.

With Bullseye among the most memorable villains in the Daredevil comics, it will be interesting to see what Bethel brings to the table. The character has been established as a dark mirror image of Daredevil with excellent marksmanship in all of his incarnations, and it will be up to the show’s writers as to how he will be translated onscreen.
