RUMOR: The Premiere Of ‘TITANS’ Will Be A Combined Two-Part Episode

Recently, DC launched its newest streaming service show, DC Daily, with a live stream hosted by Kevin Smith. During the stream, it was announced that the first episode of Titans would drop on DC Universe October 12th, with the subsequent episodes arriving every Friday. We have learned that the premiere of the show could be a combined two-part episode.

It was first reported that Titans would debut with a 13 episode first season. That news was debunked when during the stream it was said that the first season of the show would only have 12 episodes. A source close to the show has now revealed that 13 episodes were indeed shot and that the idea of combining the first and second episodes was discussed.

With that in mind, if only 12 episodes are being released, it seems the higher-ups at DC Universe may have in fact combined the episodes. This has yet to be confirmed, although, the conflicting reports regarding the actual number could add fuel to this theory. If this is the case, fans could be in for a surprise when the premiere episode drops.

With Titans, DC Universe will attempt to bring the dark and gritty tone that Daredevil brought to the Marvel Universe. The trailer for the show was received with mixed reactions, although, fans are clamoring for the original series that is set to debut on the streaming service. Titans is joined by Doom Patrol, Swamp Thing, and Stargirl as original live-action shows that will be exclusive to DC Universe.
