With the DC Universe approaching its launch date in a few days, Warner Bros. Television has released a set of photos for the series premiere of Titans, one of the shows originally produced for the streaming service. Although trailers have shown the majority of the Teen Titans, it turns out the premiere will focus largely on Dick Grayson, Raven, and Starfire. Not only do the photos reveal interactions between these characters, they also reveal that the pilot will give each of these characters their own story.
For example, there are photos featuring the demise of The Flying Graysons, which kicks off the origin of Grayson becoming Robin. In addition, several photos feature Grayson outside his crime-fighting persona as well as Starfire in a knife fight. Raven is also featured in several images, with some of them depicting her as a reserved individual and others depicting her as someone fearful of her surroundings.
We also get a glimpse of Grayson as Robin fighting off a gang in an alley, as he can be seen in an action pose and in a more relaxed pose once the gang has been defeated. As this was a scene that is shown in the trailer, these photos provide us a better look at key points in the fight. Furthermore, we get more images of Raven and Grayson interacting with each other, which is another element previously established in the marketing.
As Titans is slowly approaching its premiere date, it will be interesting to see how the pilot brings all these story elements together. We can determine that not all the main characters will appear this first time around, but we shall have to wait to see how everyone gets established in the pilot episode.
