It’s been quite the crazy day for DC fans, and it’s only poised to get crazier as Henry Cavill has now responded to reports of his departure from the DCEU. It was only a matter of time before we got a response from him, but this is certainly not what most people had in mind.

The British-actor has taken to social media to record a response of sorts to all of the Superman madness that happened today. Check it out below and try to decipher Henry Cavill’s message.

After the report went out today that revealed Henry Cavill dropped out of discussions continue his role as Superman, thousands of people around the world have been talking about it non-stop. It is some scary news for the DCEU, and fans rightfully expressed extreme discomfort with the prospect of not seeing a Superman film any time soon.

Cavill’s agent has teased all hope wasn’t lost, but Warner Bros. seems to be less than interested in pushing for a new Superman film. As they move away from Superman, they’ll be focusing on Supergirl instead; which wouldn’t include Kal-El as that film’s story will likely take place during the 70’s.

Was it a good choice to move on from Cavill’s Superman?, or is WB making a horrendous mistake?… I think I know the answer.
