Margot Robbie’s untitled adaptation of Birds of Prey  has been hotly anitcipated film for sometime now. There are numerous projects including Harley Quinn at the moment, but this one has always had the most traction. Just last week, we got a shortlist of actresses looking to fill the Black Canary and Huntress roles. Today, we have learned that the movie has set its release date.

The movie will release in theaters and IMAX on February 7, 2020. Actresses are still testing for the other Birds, where as Robbie’s Harley Quinn will fill the role Batgirl usually fills as head of the trio. The film will also feature Black Mask as the villain. Cathy Yan is set to direct.

The release date for the film makes it the only DC property confirmed to hit theaters in 2020. There’s a lot of speculation surrounding Flash and The Batman releasing that year but nothing has been confirmed by WB.
