We’ve gotten ample amounts of Joker set photos ever since production began. We were able to get our first look at him in full Joker attire, as well as him in his Arthur Fleck look. It was announced that Zazie Beetz and him would play a couple of sorts, and now we have our first look at them together.
The photos show them sitting at a diner, possibly on a date. Phoenix still manages to bring an eeriness to the scene with his manic smile too. Check out some of the photos below, via Just Jared:
The two sitting opposite of each other brings a lot of excitement to the table! It makes one wonder if she knows what’s going on in his head, and if she’s his only support. The film has been shooting in New York and New Jersey a lot, with it’s landscapes providing a good foundation for Gotham.
The Joker film is an origin film for the Clown Prince of Crime. Seeing what Joaquin Phoenix can do in previous films only raises the anticipation for his interpretation of the Joker.
