We are just three short months away from the official release of the DCEU’s latest effort Aquaman and the marketing push is beginning to build. Following the well-received first trailer for the film coming out of this summer’s San Diego Comic Con, fans are on the edge of their seats while waiting to see whether the film will claim the same glowing reception as Wonder Woman or the disappointing reviews of Justice League.
Thanks to new promo art, fans now have yet another piece of work to sink their teeth into. These designs look as if they could go on a graphic t-shirt, lunch box, or action figure set given its splashy and colorful nature. Take a look for yourself below:
One of the biggest issues with the DCEU, according to the critics, is the dark storytelling and lighting in the films. With this promo art, as well as the actual trailer and poster, this film looks to be a little brighter and more fun. Hopefully satisfying even the charset critics of the franchise. The suits on both Momoa’s Aquaman and Amber Heard’s Mera closely resemble the designs seen in the pages of DC Comics.
