Matt Bomer is known for roles in White Collar, Magic Mike and Normal Heart. He is set to play Negative Man in the series. It is looking like his character will be shown in flash back scenes as Larry Trainor. Bomer will provide the voiceover for the character. He will essentially also “physically” be the character.

Negative Man is one of the founding members of the Doom Patrol whose alter ego is Larry Trainor. It will be interesting to see how Bomer will go about the role because Negative man has been known to look at himself as more of a curse rather than a hero, hence the name Negative Man.

Doom Patrol‘s first season will consist of 13 episodes. Greg Berlanti, famous for contributing immensly to the Arrowverse will be one of the executive producers for the show as well as Geoff Johns. We will have to wait and see how Negative Man, Crazy Jane, Elasti-Woman, Robotman and Dr. Niles work as a team of outcasts.
