Deadpool who? The queen of crime Harley Quinn is getting a spot on the new DC Universe streaming service with her own animated series and it is definitely not your regular Nickelodeon cartoon.
DC Universe has released the first teaser of the new animated series and announced that The Big Bang Theory alum Kaley Cuoco has been cast to voice the iconic character. Which confirms a report made by from Revenge of the Fans earlier this year. This first look definitely sets the tone that it will be a self-aware, fourth wall breaking comedy not unlike the popular Deadpool films. What’s even more exciting is that both queens of crime will be starring in the series, seeing that gal pal Poison Ivy is also featured as a likely co-protagonist in the clip above. As well as announcing Kaley Cuoco as Harley, DC Universe also released the entire cast of the show below:
With big names such as Alan Tudyk, Wanda Sykes, and Tony Hale, it seems DC has really spruced up the cast to help set expectations high (especially after that teaser clip). Though no official premiere date has been announced yet, the exclusive streaming service has been set to be rolling out a new series every few months it seems. Perhaps we’ll finally see our favorite queen on the stream screen in early 2019!
