With the new Star Wars show The Mandalorian just ramping up production, a new rumor has emerged that two of the recently announced directors, Bryce Dallas Howard and Taika Waititi, will not only direct episodes but may have minor roles in the show as well. The series is set to premiere on the upcoming Disney Streaming Service sometime in the future.

There is no information on who these two may be playing but it’s speculated Waititi will be the voice of a droid in the show while Bryce’s character is anyone’s guess (MAYBE SHE’S REY’S MOTHER).

While this may be exciting for fans of the Jurassic World series or those who enjoy Waititi’s humor, these roles have been stressed as ‘minor’ within the context of the show. Meaning, they most likely won’t be in every episode, but that could always change as production continues on.
