It looks like the Wall-Crawler will be getting some more familiar help behind the scenes as he travels across Europe. Michael Giacchino will be returning to compose the score for Spider-Man: Far From Home. The Oscar-winning composer scored Spider-Man: Homecoming so expect a similar feel as Spider-Man squares off against Jake Gyllenhaal’s Mysterio.
Giacchino is becoming quite familiar with the Marvel family. Along with the two Spider-Man films, he was also the sound behind Doctor Strange. He won his Oscar in 2010 after scoring the Disney/Pixar film Up.
Giacchino is coming off a huge year this year as well. Not only did he score Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and the upcoming Bad Times at the El Royale but he was also the composer behind the animated juggernaut Incredibles 2. All of those films relied heavily on the music when it came to storytelling and setting a proper mood.
