This year’s Arrowverse crossover will once again see so many faces coming together for our pleasure. Despite the Legends and Black Lightning sitting it out, fan fervor is at an all-time high. Batwoman and Gotham City will make an appearance, giving us a taste of the world of Batman on our small screen. Today, another big DC player has been revealed to be getting a new look that will shock fans.

Stephen Amell has posted a group shot of him, Grant Gustin and Tyler Hoechlin on set for the crossover. He and Gustin are not in their respective costumes but you can clearly see Hoechlin’s Superman in the middle wearing the Black Suit.

Superman’s black suit was made iconic during the Death of Superman storyline. The suit first made an appearance when it was revealed that Clark Kent had not died at the hands of Doomsday. He went on to don the suit for some time. Could that mean Death of Superman plays a role in the Elseworlds crossover? Only time will tell.
