News regarding the Flash’s solo flick has been mostly negative for those who have been anticipating his own movie. Well, now we have more to report on the film, and it looks like we won’t be seeing it as soon as we thought.
It seems that Warner Bros. is pushing the film farther back. With the film never getting a technical release date or green light, them pushing it farther and farther back comes to no surprise. There have been many attempts at a start date, with the most recent stating that shooting will begin in March. With the script still being worked on, the studio doesn’t believe they’ll have a complete script in time to start production officially.
With Ezra Miller being contractually obligated to the Fantastic Beasts series, his priorities seem to be in line with that. Now what this means is that production on the Flash won’t likely begin until late 2019, meaning no film until most likely 2021. Sad, I know, but you can find silver lining in the fact that they still want to pursue the film as a whole.
