RUMOR: Gwyneth Paltrow May Be Suiting Up As RESCUE in ‘AVENGERS 4’

Well, the fourth Avengers film is just 7 short months away and still very little is known about what is sure to be the culmination of 11 years of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Several actors attached to the project have teased things here and there over the last year but many of the details of the plot and which characters will be appearing is still a mystery to many fans.

A few months back, Gwyneth Paltrow, who has portrayed Pepper Potts in the MCU since 2008’s Iron Man, posted a picture on her Instagram story that showed her in what appeared to be a motion capture suit. This sent fans in a frenzy as they assumed that she would be suiting up, for a second time in the MCU after she donned the Iron Man suit in 2013’s Iron Man 3, and getting in on the action during the events of the upcoming film. take a look below:

Following months of fan theories, it seems like we are one step closer to finally getting confirmation that Pepper Potts will not only be joining the fight against Thanos, but she will be doing so in the suit she dons in the pages of Marvel Comics as the hero Rescue.

For every blockbuster Marvel movie, there is an accompany line of action figures with which fans young and old can recreate the story in the comfort of their own homes. According to a new rumor from MCU Cosmic, the 6″ line of Marvel action figures dubbed “Hero Vision” for Avengers 4, features a group of two-packs featuring characters that may or may not be teaming up during the events of the film. Along with two-packs featuring Captain America & Captain Marvel and Thor & Rocket Raccoon, there is a combination of figures that appears to be Tony Stark’s Iron Man and female character in a similar looking Iron Man armor. According to the rumor, the suit is purple and light green with the color combination stretching from the mask to the legs.

While this rumor is to be taken with a grain of salt, it would totally make sense that Pepper would be eager to join the fight after her wedding with Tony Stark was presumably put on hold following his abduction by aliens and the subsequent disappearance of half the universe’s population during the events of Avengers: Infinity War.
