The standalone Joker movie occupies an intriguing place among DC Comic book movies. It is a seemingly separate world, in a different time. But it also needs to introduce so many familiars names with new faces. Today, we have two very important names that have been cast.

Douglas Hodge has been cast as Alfred and Dante Pereira-Olson as a young Bruce Wayne. Interestingly, both have worked together previously with Joaquin Phoenix in You Were Never Really Here. The extents of their role are unclear at this time. It will no doubt delight fans to see a glimpse of the world of Gotham take shape in this universe.
