Details have been trickling out from the highly anticipated Arrowverse crossover Elseworlds with pictures coming out showing Stephen Amell in the Flash suit, Superman’s black suit, John Wesley Shipp on set as the flash, and now our first look at LaMonica Garrett in full costume as The Monitor.
Mar Novu or The Monitor first appeared in the Teen Titans fight with brother blood back in 1983, but he’s best known for his appearance in Crisis on Infinite Earths where he saves the Universe from his evil counterpart Anti-Monitor who plans to destroy all the positive matter in the Universe. The Monitor foils his evil plan by assembling a couple of Earth’s heroes from different timelines to defeat him.
Elseworlds will follow Green Arrow, The Flash, and Supergirl as they travel to Gotham City to investigate a doctor at Arkham Asylum. This marks the first time Gotham has appeared in the Arrowverse. The crossover will also feature Ruby Rose’s Batwoman, Tyler Hoechlin’s Superman, and it will introduce Elizabeth Tolloch’s Lois Lane.
The three night Elseworlds story will kick off at 8 E.T. on December 10th with The Flash, continues December 11th with Arrow, and ends December 12th with Supergirl.
